Visit to Suomenlinna

Hi guys!

On Sunday we caught a ferry and went to have a picnic in Suomenlinna (what means Castle of Finland) is a habited sea fortress built on six islands, and which now forms part of the city of Helsinki. Was the Swedish, who began the construction of the fortress in 1748, as protection against the Russian expansion.

Suomenlinna is a UNESCO World Heritage site and popular with both tourists and local people, who enjoy it as a picnic site. 

It started like a sunny day but then it got super cold and foggy, but this is the weather in Helsinki...

WE LOVE FINLAND

Hi everybody!
In Thursday, when we finished the work, Albert and me, we went to walk in Tikkurila and we discovered a beautiful place next to a scientist museum.
We take a lot of photos! It's a fantastic place!
Yesterday Albert, Janne and me went to Helsinki (Marta don't came with us because she was tired).
At Helsinki we went to Hotel Camp, McDonalds and a bit of shopping! (In H&M it was sales) We talked a lot and our english it's better everyday.
Today we will going to Helsinki for ask to go to Tallin! And maybe we will going to Vapiano!  

A new day in Helsinki!

Today at 9.30 we made our first Spanish class in Helmi, it was a amazing experience for us, because it's a different way to practice english, and spanish at the same time, we explained the legend of Sant Jordi, because yesterday was this day and we missed a lot Barcelona. At 10.30 the class was over, and we had 3 hours of free time, we were with our tutors Oliver and Janne, was a good time, 3 hours later, at 13.50 we made our last class of the day in Spanish. In this class we spoke about the buildings of Antoni Gaudí, we showed lots of photos of La Pedrera, La Casa Batlló, La Sagrada Familia, El Parc Güell, Plaça Catalunya and Plaça Espanya. After that Marta, Judit and me were to Helsinki, at 16.00 we made a "little" break for eat something, as you can see in the photo:

Espoo

Hi guys ! I’m going to tell you a bit of the place I live, Espoo.

It’s a city near of Helsinki, but go to the Center of Helsinki form there takes me more than 1h! Espoo is full of trees and little houses, but it’s almost all forest, there are lots of small animals, like birds, squirrels, and rabbits.

We are in the spring but we still have snow here, it’s suuuper cold! But it’s fun too.

And you can do things like that jajaja

First day at the work and visit Helsinki!

Hello everyone!

The last wednesday we began our job. Albert work in Addidas, Marta in Neste Oil Malmi, and me (Judit)  in Mercuria Business School. We're very happy in ours jobs! 

In Wednesday afternoon Albert, teachers and me we was in Helsinki, it's so beautiful!

In Helsinki it's snowing yet, but it isn't very cold. With the teachers we went in the port, later we went to a cafeteria. And later Albert and me we returned to the apartment at 10 p.m.!

Today the teachers return to Barcelona, we will miss them!

A little bit of Spain in Finland

Yesterday we arrived to Finalnd, after that Marta, Judit and me went to Starbucks with one of our tutors, Outi. Later we went to our apartment, it's fantastic.

Today we went to Helmi Business School and all of the tutors showed us the building and after that we went to a English class and I teached to finnish students to say tipical phrases like "Buenos días", "Buenas noches" and to count to 1 to 10 in Spanish, after the lunch time we made ourselfs the window that you can see right here. We can use the subject that we prefer, and we thinked that would be really good make a window tipical of Spain and Catalonia. After that, Silja (other of the our tutors) showed how Judit and me we can go to our jobs, when she finished we went to a shopping centre just to see it and hang out.

Now all of us are really tired, but at the same time we are really excited to go to our jobs, and we can't wait till tomorrow, but we haven't other option.

Dachau

Last weekend we went to the concentration camp near Munich, Dachau. We arrived at 7 o'clock after knowing an interesting guide. It was free on saturday and we could go around the building without money. we saw the jails and the beds of the prisioners. There were so many things about the camp in the museum, original clothes, videos and stuffs like that.
We enjoyed a lot the day, it was so interesting.

BMW's Museum

Last weekend we went to BMW's museum, we saw a lot of incredible cars but the best surprise that we had was the Rolls Royce's Museum. We went around the museum spending 2 hours and saw two hundred cars and motorcycles for only 9 euros. We toke one hundred photos more o less but only show you the best.

We are going to spend one week more only in Munich and we hope that it will be the best week.

Our new L.A.´s friend

Last wednesday night we went to see the presentation in munich of the new book writted by Chris Kraus. She was reading "Summer of hate" in an art gallery of munich. It was cool but our english is so different than american english. After that we told here about the school´s blog and she liked it. She said that we are having an interesting oportunity, she is a nice woman.

 We are knowing interesting people here in Munich. We are improving our english and doing so exiting things.
