Visit to Suomenlinna
Hi guys!
On Sunday we caught a ferry and went to have a picnic in Suomenlinna (what means Castle of Finland) is a habited sea fortress built on six islands, and which now forms part of the city of Helsinki. Was the Swedish, who began the construction of the fortress in 1748,
as protection against the Russian expansion.
Suomenlinna is a UNESCO World
Heritage site and popular with both tourists
and local people, who enjoy it as a picnic site.
It started
like a sunny day but then it got super cold and foggy, but this is the weather
in Helsinki...
Moi, moi
See you soon
