The last day!!! :)

Hiiii, this is Andrea!!
So, that's right, this is our last day on Finland. Can you imagine how nervous and happy we are?? XD
This doesn't mean that we didn't have a good time at Helsinki, on the contrary, it was a great experience, an opportunity to know another culture and country and to know new people. But now, we miss our families, we miss the sun of our country (yes, it was a torture to not see the sun XD) and see our friends.
Yesterday we're saying goodbye on some of our Finnish tutors doing a dinner on a wonderful Mexican restaurant and today with our families. I went with my family on an Italian restaurant to do a last thing together, I talk about it on another entrance, Vapiano. It was a very nice time with them, I suppose that Mireia and Nelson did something special too with their families. :)
A great moment of the day, it was the people from my workplace were saying to me goodbye and giving me presents: a huge box of chocolates of the brand Fazer (Finnish brand) and t-shirt of Finland. Really nice people, I passed very great moments with them. :)
Tomorrow, we're gonna go to the airport at 3 o'clock and we'll arrive at 20:20 at the night, when our families we'll wait us.
So, it was really good to share my experience on Finland with all of you and because it's my last entrance I want to said goodbye to all the readers. ;)
GOODBYE!!!!

Bye bye Finland

Activities on the school of Helsinki

Hiiii, this is Andrea :)
I'm writing today because i didn't write on Monday, that's why I'm doing an entrance today.
Well, today I'm gonna talk about what we did yesterday.
I was very happy because we didn't go  to work because we had an activity on the Helmi school of Helsinki.
So, the schedule was:
-First, go to a class, with some students and tutors, to do a presentation of ourselves and the experience of Helsinki (the families, the workplace, etc) and talking about the structure of the education from Spain, very different of Finland by the way.
-Second, to go on another class to do the same and know about the different kind of studies that you can do on this school (like business & sports, tourism, etc), that the teacher who teach tourism speaks very well the Spanish (actually, she was talking on Spanish all the time, and we discover interesting things).
-Then we went to lunch at the cafeteria with the tutors and after that we decorated the Christmas tree of the school :)
-Finally, the best activity to my opinion, to go on another class with other students to explain them about the places that you can visit in Barcelona (it was very funny because we knew on the same day that we should do that presentations, so, all was improvised) but it was very nice, and the students we're very interested, especially when we talked about the discos and bars that can visit XD
We talked too about the Christmas from Spain, they really liked, especially the song of "Caga tió"

So, that's all for today ;)
Bye!!!!!

On thursday we went to the Opera House, and it was very Amazing!, and the play was Turandot of Giacomo Puccini.

You can see in the photos

And Mireia and Andrea they ate a rich Salmon Soup, in Hakaniemi, and they like it, and we thinking about going again to the Market and eat more Salmon Soup! =)
Only a few days left to return to Spain!!!

And we are already thinking about souvenirs that we´ll bring to Spain.

Moi Moi! And have a good weekend!!

Concentration camp

Last Saturday, Dawn and I went to visit Dachau's concentration camp. We took a telephone guide in spanish and I impress us enough. We visit all the facilities of the enclosure and we knew the whole history of every corner of this field. Afterwards we saw a documentary on what they hacian in this field, with photographies. My conclusion is that I could have seen from my same one what hacian to the Jews, and me it seems that it was an injustice and to be able to say that it is the sight mas interesting to cultural standard, I recommend to go to this field to the people that view this city. Here I leave you some photos of the field.
See you!

ARABIA

Hello readers I´m Mireia!
Today Andrea, Nelson and I have been to the museum of Arabia. A museum of ceramics at a fairly affordable price and very nice, which exposed a large collection of ceramic mugs, various works and exposing recreated dining tables ceramic tableware. Under the museum there was a typical store that is located throughout Finland but ceramic was too expensive!

Finally we had a coffee and a tea in a coffee shop next to the museum and then after that, as it was cold and windy (because on Friday there will be a snow storm) we decided to go home. Our plans for tomorrow are going to the opera, hopefully we will like it. Good night!:)

GERMAN COURSE

Monday Day 2, Laura and I started doing a German course
This beginners course was German, Level One.
The first day we were practicing some phrases like:

Wie geht es dir?
Wie ist Ihr Name?
Was ist Ihr Familiennamen?
Woher kommen Sie?

We found it a bit tricky and confusing.
Then, we practiced numbers, which are read backwards:

vierundzwanzig 24
vierzig 40
einundneunzig 91

Here I leave some photos of our classe and our notes :)

A religious monday!!!!

Hello readers, this is Andrea!!!!

Today it was a quite and silence day because we decided to visit two famous cathedrals from Helsinki!!! :)
First we went to the evangelical cathedral of Helsinki, created by Carl Ludvig Engel, a german architect.

Then, we went to the metro station Kajsaniemi for to go to Kamppi, where is the other cathedral, a small church with a particular structure, designed by Kimmo Lintula, Niko Sirola and Mikko Summanen.

After the visits, we went on our usual coffee shop to chat about our things :) (I thing that officially we're the best costumers of the coffee shop XD we always go there)
By the way, you know what, it snowed a little this afternoon :) :) Christmas is comiiiing!!!!!
