BUSY WEEKEND!!

Hi everybody!
We had a very good week seeing museums, going a nice restaurants, watching movies, meet with the tutor of Helmi... The weather it´s very cold here but the people say "It´s warmer", but i don´t thing the same about this... hahahaha it´s very cold of us! Brbrbrbr
Yesterday we went to "Kiasma Museum" seeing Art, figures, paintings and other interesting things in that place!

Tomorrow we're going to ICE SKATING so it could be really cool!!! hahaha I'm really exciting!
And eat in a restaurant and sunday going to "Suomelinna Fortress"

Cold Days

Now in Munich it got very cold!! But it's beautiful to see if youget up how the whole area appears in a white view.

It's christmas time and so you can visit the christmas market at the Marienplatz with it's beautiful stalls where you can buy little presents or christmas decoration. It's great to walk through the decorated streets which are a bit different than in spain. We also enjoyed the german food we tasted.

Of course we bought presents for our family and friends which are typically for Munich.

Center of Helsinki!

 

Good night!!! I am Mireia. Today was a pretty normal day. First of all I went to Timari (my place of work) from 10:00 to 15:00 where I unpacked the products that are sold, I have put prices on these products, helped the customers and various other things.

 

 

 In the afternoon Andrea, Nelson and I decided to take a tram trip through the center of Helsinki, it was very entertaining. And to end the evening, we decided to go to a café in the Centre, where we have taken a few cafes and a few species of pasta salted relleas of cheese with herbs. Tomorrow we will go to two museums, the culture and contemporary art, hope it will be fun!

Days in munich

Last saturday I went with my family to a spa, it was so very luxurious and very beautiful. We ate pizza  then we had a piña colada in the water. It was very rich!
Today Laura and Iwent shopping and we've also seen that they opened the Christmas market.
These days we have been visiting a lot of tings like the centre or the English Garden. Last friday we also went in a bar and we had sushi for dinner. We loved it . Today it was very exciting for us because when we got up this mornig everything was white because there was so mucg snow.

A normal monday

Helloooo!!!

My workplace (on Malmi, Helsinki)

Today We didn't do anything on special, so the entrance'll be a little short,.
So, in the morning I went to my workplace to work since 8:30 to 13:30.

After that I went to home to rest a little after a hard day working. Then I met with Nelson and Mireia for to go on the Kiasma museum (Contemporary art) but it was closed, so we couldn't go :(
Then we decided to go on another museum but all of them were closed (It seems that on Monday all the museums are closed XD).
Finally we went to a kebab because Nelson was starving, and we were there for 3 HOURS chatting about our things and having some fun :)

A busy weekend!!!!

Hi everyone, I´m Andrea and today i´m gonna make an extra entrance!!!!!!
This weekend it was very busy for us in Finland, because we had a lot of things :)

Saturday
Saturday to me it was my favorite day of this week. First, we met Mireia, Nelson and me at the center of Helsinki to see the market of Helsinki, they were closing at the time we went but we could see a lot of small shops and then we saw too the famous fountain call Havis Amanda.
               

Then, finally we met with two of our tutors in Finland, Sabina and Anna, two girls very nice :)

We went to dinner at an Italian restaurant, Vapiano, very nice restaurant, I recommend you to go if you have the opportunity. 

After that we went to see the second part of THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!

It was very nice the day and pass the day with the two girls!!! :) :)

Sunday:
Sunday we went to an animal fair, that were more thing than animals, like clothes, shoes, etc (like an outlet)
That by the way, I bought a beautiful boots!!! <3

After that we went to lunch and going to see an exhibition of Christmas at the center of Helsinki, very nice!!!!

Second day in Munich

The Tuesday morning after going to work Christina, Laura  and I went to visit the viewpoint of Marienplatz, is nice and with a spectacular view muay.
In the afternoon took the opportunity to visit the English garden. Later Laura and I went to eat one frankfurt in central Munich and we are happy, we also visited the luxurious shopping area.

ONE WEEK IN FINLAND!

Hi guys! I'm Nelson again! Yes it's friday so... This is my day to write in this amazing blog...

So, Let's go!

This week we went in a lot of places, but yesterday we went to Itakeskus Swimming Hall, an amazing place to go swimming and have a relax time in the sauna or doing exercise in the gym!

This week we started in our jobs, a nice and interesting jobs! 

My job is in "Katajanokka", near the port and it's called "Help Hostel", and yes guys, it's a nice hostel. There i'm doing the beds for the customers, clean the rooms, solve doubts about the transport or what to do or visit in Finland... And more!

Ateneum museum!!

Hello from Finland! First of all I’d like to say that I am delighted with the work. It is amazing and the people are very kind, I work in a place called Timari. It is similar to a shop with things for the house. Also today two of the tutors called Anna (both of them) came to see me at the work to see what I was doing, lovely! Today me and  Andrea decided to go  to a contemporary art museum called Ateneum and we there we saw paintings of different periods, it was thoroughly enjoyable! We then decided to go to a coffee shop called Fazer near the Railway station in the Centre of the city. It is a bit more expensive but very nice! We have been enjoying some pasta typical of Helsinki formed by a kind of “ojaldre” with Blueberry jam filling. Finally we have decided that tomorrow we will take a Sauna typical of Finland, hope you do well! Greetings from Herttoniemi!

Residenz München

Yesterday we went to see Residenz Munich. It was the previous palace of the kings of Bavaria, The Residence is the biggest urban palace of Germany, and serves now a days as one of the best decorative museums in Europe.
This palace is very nice and very big, and it made us know more of the history of Munich. We like to visit it very much.

First day at work!!

Hellooo everyoneeee!!! :)
It was very good these three days on Helsinki, we visited something about this beautiful city: the center (of course XD) and one of the most biggest shopping center Itis´s the name, that is not so far from where I´m living.
So, today it was a very important day because Mireia, Nelson and me started to worked :)

But fist of all, we went to the school Helmi, because they prepared a couple of things:
-First, we got together with some teachers and all the tutors for to know us more each other, having a delicious breakfast that they prepared to us and a little speech talking us about a the culture of the Finnish school and what to do at Helsinki.

-After that they did us a small tour about the school, that by the way is very HUGE the school , it´s amazing, it has a gym, dance class, a thousand classes with modern computers and other amazing things!!
-When we finished the tour they invited us to lunch, a nice gesture ;)
-Then one some tutors accompany each of us of our work place!!
Nelson workplace is a Hostel, named HelpHostel, Mireia Tiimari (a cute shop that sells accessories for the house) and me on a petrol station called Neste K-market.

Hi! I'm Nelson, one of the students to go abroad.

My family are very kind, and the students of the school there are too!

Yesterday we saw a movie, in the movie theater, the movie was called "Carrie", and yes.... It's a horror movie! Hahaha

And later we walked to Aleksanterinkatu L., (I think it's the main street, hahhaha but i don't know.

Kisses for our classmates and teachers! We miss a lot!

The visitors!!!

Today they came Marta, Albert and Judit (the students that they went to Helsinki the last year), to the preparation class of Finland and German, to speak a little about their experience of the past travel in Finland and to answer the many questions we had Mireia, Nelson and me, Andrea. So, It was pretty interesting, because in two days we'll go to Finland!!!! So, surely we're a little nervous of this wonderful travel and it's good to know things about this cold country for to go ready :)
