Day at Suomenlinna

Today we spent the day at Suomenlina island. Jenny and José, two tourism students from Helmi came with us and gave us a guided tour. A boat took us there through the iced Baltic waters and we walked around the island at -12ºC and snow to our knees! It was great fun!!

Christmas fairs with their handicrafts and designer stalls are an endless wellspring of unique gift ideas. The biggest annual Christmas market in Helsinki is held at Vanha Ylioppilastalo – the Old Student House.

Spanish Brunch !!

Ja hem arribat a Finlàndia.

TAXIII !

Yesterday I went to Tallinn (Estonia) with Adrià and his "family." I woke up at 6 and went to catch the train. We arrived at the port and after check-in we went to get on the boat. Didn’t find any place to sit and finally, we sat in the middle of a hallway sitting on the floor. When we arrived in Tallinn started to look for a taxi to take us to the old part of town, but ... to Erja was approached by a man (from that moment for us the terrorist) was a "driver" who offered to take us to where we wanted the old town for 7 euros, of course, we accepted.
We got in the car five and when we were on the way we learned it was an illegal taxi and for that reason it was so cheap.

We left the old city and took a walk through the market and went to a cafe for breakfast (fried eggs with bacon).

After breakfast we decided to call Sergey to take us to the mall and while waiting to arrive began to make a snowball war girls against Adria (and we won) jajajaja.
After the war we saw a red van was approaching at full speed Sergei and taken to the police. We hopped on the "TAXI" and the police stopped us, they go down to Sergei and asked the papers and we didn’t understand anything. We said nothing and put him into the police car. Wife and I stayed more than half an hour waiting to tell us something. While waiting I was thinking that we had him arrested for being an illegal taxi ivan us to say something to us and started to invent a story that ultimately did not help because Sergey came and told us what had happened was that it had passed 2 red lights and had exceeded the speed limit and that he had placed a fine of 40 euros.

Then he took us downtown to the mall where we spent the afternoon shopping and then called us to come to us to collect and bring back to the boat.

We had a good day although a little tired.

There are only 9 days to go home =D

kisses and hugs!

Hi!
The last weekend my parents came here with me. I was very happy because I miss them. On friday I went to pick up my parents to the airport in the night we went to Zetor (is a restaurant in the center of Helsinki) with Silvia's family, the food was good but I prefer the spanish food.

my mum and me!!
On Saturday I shown their the Rock church, Uspenski cathedral, the Market place and we wanted go to Suomelinna but we didn't do it because Finnair is a Strike and the flight of my parents was cancelled and I called a lot of companies to got a new flight for their, but the next day the new flight was cancelled too. It's horrible because my mum was very nervous. We decided go to the airport and I spoke with a personal of Finnair and she changed their flight with a connexion in London, but they left on tuesday!!

In the night I met my friends and student's of Helmi and we went to a bar, it's was very funny because I laughted all the time.
