JOULUTORTTU'S

Yesterday was the day of independence in Finland and in the morning I was helping my family has to make some typical Christmas cakes from here. His name is "Joulutorttu" are small stars with jam and sugar in the center. We also made croissants and pastries typical here. They are called "Karjalanpiirakka." They're kind of cookies that have rice in the center.

In the afternoon, I went to visit the girls in the apartment. Today has been a long day of work and school. There are only two weeks to return.
