The last week in Munich

Hey there,

In my case my last weekend I was with Lara and her host sister on Friday I slept over her house Saturday to get up and  we went the 3 to Austria (Salzburg) for visited the center, cathedrals and the house of Mozart we spent the whole day in Salzburg.

Sunday was more quiet for me , I stay with my family went to eat and I could say goodbye to part of the family that I knew would never see more... :(

They used this day to get a farewell and give me one present that is one beautiful bracelet.

It is the last week and we have here Miss Luna the first thing we did is the assessments in companies that put us good notes, finishing this we went to teach the center of Munich, churches, town hall, shops then we went to eat, finally we climbed a tower with 309 steps where we could see everything Munich, also during the week we bought some souvenir gifts for family and for the friends.

In the work of Lara and mine we did some surprises and gifts for having helped much, we miss her but we also to them.

Weekend in family

Hi, I'm Nestor and this weekend was a family weekend.

They invite to me to Austria, for going to ski. I usually practice snowboard so I was so happy when they tell me that idea. There was no snow in the smallest mountains so we need to go to the highests mountains to ski.
We were there for 5 hours, I really have a good time, with the father, with the mother and with my three broders, Simon, Antonia and Pauline.

Then we go to the supermarket for buying food for me to cook a "Spanish Breakfast", and later we have dinner in a Italian Restaurant. There were good pizzas!!

In the morning I cook them the "Spanish breakfast", jam, spicy pork, cheese with toasts with tomato and oil.
They ejoy it a lot, the idea was good!!!

3rd of December

We went to Dachau concentration camp. Marta and I left work at 2:30, then we all met. We went fast because the concentration camp closed at 5, we took the direction Dachau train, then we left the train and walked to the concentration camp, instead of to took the bus, we thought we were a 15 minute walk but were 30 minute the arrived a little later because we did not know the way very well. We arrived, the place impressed me very much. 

We saw what was inside the Museum where on posters and photograph accounted all about the concentration camp, and then we saw where they slept and the convent, we had to leave early because the camp closed early and we took the bus back to the center of Dachau. It is a small but very nice town. We returned again to the station to took the subway and return home.

separate weekend

this weekend diferents me things my friends did. Nestor went skiing with his adoptive family germany . I talked to him and explained that I was happy because he loves skiing. otherwise the girls went to Austria with the adoptive sister of Lara . I think they liked this city because I can see many nice pictures on snapchat and Instagram . I stayed at the residence. this weekend I advanced homeworks and slept much.
i sure that today we will made a nice plan togeder.

the last days

Hey there
Today I write the blog. I can not do this before because the wifi of residence rarely work  . Also workers often aren't stay in recepcion and i can't ask nothing
 in spite of problems all it's alright.
my job are nice. all the time i practise english and i learn new words in german. after work nestor and  i  take the subway and  meet  with the others girls always in place that's is in the center and we do many plans.
the last week the temperatures was lower than this week. when i get up often i can see snow across my windows and when leave the ressidence normaly the temperature is -3 degree.
Muchen is nice and when you know the people all is better.
i haven't got photos in my  tablet but a  i will share one photo.
we have few days more in Munich that we must  seize the time.
in weekend we will do a nice and funniest plans . i'm sure that we will enjoy a lot

Princess for a day

Hi guys!!

 This weekend i visited with my family a beautiful princess castle, the name is Neuschwanstein this castle was king Luis II of Baviera. Sunday we got up early ans spent two hours in the car,  when we arrived, we bought the tickets, and we went to eat at a typical restaurant in Germany at the end of lunch we rode horses to the castle to do the tour with audioguide, I heard in Spanish, and them in German, the views were amazing and it was very luxurious and very interesting, when we left it was late and went in search of the car to go home.
The day before (Saturday) was with Marina, my host sister, we took pictures. And then I played with Theresa to who is who ?, and at night Marina took me to a party with her friends.

Lara, Nestor and Antonio on saturday morning stayed with their families at night and went to another party different from mine. And on Sunday they were sleeping in the house of Nestor and then went to see the parents of Antonio.

Experiences in Munich

Day 14th
Hi, I'm Nestor and I will explain one of our experiencies here in München.
We were going to Núremberg, a little city far away from Munich. We were going there for visiting the biggest christmas market in europe.
We buy the train ticket for going to Núremberg. It costs 10 euros for person, not expensive.
Then we were searching for the correct train and we see a train that goes to Núremberg so we think this train was the correct one.
It was a very beatiful train, we can say that it looks like a luxury train. It was comfortable, we get sit in a table of four so, up to this point everything it was ok.

Next, we see the ticket reviewer, and he ask for our ticket. We give our ticket to he and then, after watching the tickets  he says that the tickets were wrong, he say that the train was a highspeed line and our ticket is for a slower train. So we can't change to another train because we were moving and he say that we need to buy a ticket for this train. The ticket reviewer was with a portable machine introducing our information for making the tickets. Then I ask for the price of the tickets, and our surprise was when he says: "two hundred and twenty euros please(220)".
So I think it was wrong and I ask he for repeating the price and he says that the price was all right.
We have to pay 55 euros each one for only one trip on a train!!! So we laugh and we think it was only another experience and we don't have to be angry about the money, but of course it hurts you.

We arrive to Núremberg in an hour and a half more or less, of course, It was the highspeed train!!
Then we walk by the market and It was so pretty and funny, everything was with lights and Christmas songs were everywhere.
We have dinner in an Italian restaurant, It was very nice!!

Later, when we must catch the slow train, we search for it with time and we get up in the real correct train. We were on the train for more than 3 hours!!!! This is why we have to pay a lot, then I understand everything.

EVENING FESTIVAL

Today we went to see the Tollwood festival is very nice and big , has different booths with difrente things , to buy gifts, and then there are food stands or a drink . We have gone to one of those stand to take something warm because it is very cold , and because we have been there talking , making us pictures, very nice all . It's not difficult to go there, is very near and I recommend to go.

For this weekend week we planned to go Saturday to Berlin one beautiful city, and Sunday day off , some relaxation , we plan to go to the water park , The Erding Thermes, to relax and to take on Monday with more desire to go to work.

Family Weekend!!

Hallo !!

I spent a very nice family weekend, on Saturday when I got up, the family asked if  ¿I liked animals ? because i live big farm, i was taken a ride horse, i was with ponies ... then we went to eat a wonderful restaurant and in the afternoon i go to ice skating one beautiful experience because i started when i was skating to snow, that if I froze !!

On Sunday I met some of the family because it was the birthday of my sister small host, all os the family on the party  singing, drinking, eating cake and playing around with the snow...and at night i was watching a series with Marina in English.

For boys the weekend was very different on Saturday went to a swimming pool with slides, we'll have to repeat me.
And Sunday Lara and Nestor were going with the families to explore the mountain a mini tour, while Antonio knew better around their residence and to the purchase of the week.

We started with a Monday strongly, that we expect a very cold and white week...and not forget the Christmas markets  start to embellish the city!!

3rd day, Start working

Hello everyone, I'm in munich !! it's my third day here and I'm very happy to be here, it's a great experience and I are proud to be here with my colleagues / friends, but for me already as my family. Do you know because I say? because when traveling outside do not know anyone and more if they do not speak your language, closest to you, those who are with you every day with your problems and your happy days, and you see them as your family.

My first day of work has been great, I've had a great time. I have known all my colleagues, very nice people. I have been fortunate that my boss, my manager knows a little Spanish and it was a relief for me, because when I left home I was very scared, but at larfo the day has been improving. I work in the botique natural cosmetics, today I have done different tasks; First of all I started at 8 am and I started has to have products that were on the suppliers, with a machine that scanned the barcode, so I've thrown as about 3 hours, until 11:05 that has been Marta has get me to go to breakfast. Marta works downstairs in the organic supermarket, and we went to breakfast at the market. When I returned from breakfast, the work I was doing, and was then made me boss sent me to the store to place a promotion they were doing, and how the public was expensive, so if someone told me something because I had to say German "a moment, please," which in German is "Einen Moment, bitte," the first time I've then said a very nice companion told me also say, "I do not speak German," which in German is said so " spreche ich kein deutsch ". He then explained to me the store, how it works, what products there .. And then put me somewhat more complicated, but fun. It was a perfect day at work !!

After work we went to eat, then we are left with the teacher to go to Inglés Garden, it is beautiful, is a huge park, reminded me of the Central Park, but it was lovely. We have seen The Wave, is where people who know go surfing and surfing there is a wave caused in the river, and people go there to surf.

I love be here, my family is very cozy and very friendly with the girl get along very well. One time been helping him for a Spanish exam on Friday that it has done, I laughed a lot with it and have been very comfortable, I would say at home ..

A funny anecdote esque yesterday afternoon has turned one house and I thought I was back on more complicated underground, and from the underground to my house the way it was easy, I thought I was gonna lose more in the subway, subway to home. The most funny thing I missed esque subway going home in the urbanization was not home and I started to go round and round until after the time I found her.

The Second day in Munich

 

Hi guys!!!

I would like to explain my second day in Munich.




 

For starters, I got up very early to get to the train I took with my host sister Marina bike to go, which is very typical of the sides here go by bike, train, bus, metro ...

 
 
Then, I came to the school where I hoped my colleagues to do with the Germans classes in Spanish and English.
At the end of classes my host mother had made me a lunch box with a sandwich and tomatoes were very good!!!, they have eaten a frankfurter, and we went to visit companies which tomorrow we started working, we met the leaders, we have presented, and learned new words to integrate better as (good morning = Guten morgen, guten tar = good day, thank you=danke) also browse the shops in Munich and visit a famous residence which was a palace.

I've come home where my family was waiting for me with dinner and big cake xocolate.

1st Day, Going to Munich

Hi, I'm Néstor and first of all I want to thank all the teachers who have been working for making possible this experience, especially for Mr. Eguíluz and Ms. López who work a lot. Thanks for all! And then I will explain todays experience.
In the airport everything OK for going to Munich, too much security, but It isn't a problem.

Then things go different when we arrive to Munich. We were waiting for the luggage, everyone except me had their baggages.

We asked for it and they say that in the afternoon I have to call to the airport and ask for it. I called to the airport and they say that they don't know anything about my luggage, that tomorrow I have to call again...

Except this problem, here in Munich the time It's wonderful, It was a sunny and hot day, we have been enjoying it.

My family It's crazy but they are also friendly.
I hope my baggage appears tomorrow...

Fantastic experience!!

This has been to me a great experience. I get along with the family very good. Now I have only two days to go back to Barcelona and these four weeks have gone very fast. On saturday morning we went (me and Aina with the "parents") to Porvoo and there were many antique shops. From there we bought some souvenirs to my family.
We found there very antique keys. Later we went to one popular store Hakaniemi market hall. There were many different foods and upstairs were clothes and Marimekkos place. From there I bought one present to my mother.

There was always one cafeteria. When we went back to the car, we went to one spanish cafeteria. I bought from there one spanish cake. When we drove with the car in Porvoo, we saw one popular lake. We went to eat to McDonald's. At six o'clock we went to Wanha Mylly (at Herttoniemi) with Aina. There we eated one shrimp toast and hamburger. We got taxi to home.

We have already packed the suitcases. We would like to be here for more weeks.



I had the last workday at Malmi Neste Oil on friday. At  work I learned much and I was happy to have that place.

Last week in Finland!

Hi! This is the last week in Finland and I’m writing for the last time.

Last weekend it was really nice! I went to sleep to Laia’s house all the weekend. On Friday, her finish mum cooked paella, with selfish and beef! And for desert they made Crema Catalana!! All the food was very delicious!  It’s really nice that the finish people know typical foods from Spain and Catalonia.

On Saturday Laia, her family and I went to visit the grandparents of her dad and her mum. We went by car and it took us around 2 hours to arrive. The car it’s really old, it’s a Chevrolet from 1960. Her dad, had two old cars, are very amazing! And we went 6 persons in the same car; the mum, the daughter and her boyfriend went at back of the car and the dad, Laia and I went at the front of the car.

The next day, the mum prepared for breakfast bread with tomato (pà amb tomàquet) with some Iberic jam, cold meat and cheese. The food in Laia’s house is fantastic!! And then Laia, her dad and I went to visit a public farm. We saw a lot of animals, such as picks, horses, rabbits… 
And then we started the barbecue with the sunset.

And then, on Monday Laia and I went to visit some other areas of Helsinki,  we visited a lot of places, for example:

Friday with the girls!

Hi everyone! This Friday I did a lot of things, I think it was one of the best days I have had in Finland.

First of all Veera came to my house to pick me up with her moped car (a car with two seats that it's able to use for people over 15 years old or more.) Then she drove to Elli's house (the other finnish girl who lives in the other part of Vantaa ) and brought us to her house, she showed me the neighbourhood and we walked to a cake shop where I tasted a delicious finnish donut, I had been talking in Spanish with the seller lady, she speaks Italian so we understood each other really well I think.

After that Veera lead us through the forest and we arrived to a neighbour house, then she knocked the door and when it had opened 7 dogs came out from the house while all of them were jumping and barking. Veera took one of them and we went for a walk in the forest. There I could saw the magic part of Finland, I heard the flow of the river and the silence of the nature.

 Then we came back home and they make a mastercheffs plate with typical finnish food, some of them were uneatable, like the white onion or the salat but the other ones like the bread the cheese or the pink liquid which is a kind of yogurt but much more sticky.

When I finished the unbelievable plate Veera and Elli gave me a helmet and gloves and told me to go outside, there I saw a dazzle of lights coming from the headlamps of a quad bike, the girls jumped in and encouraged me to take a ride with them.

 In the middle of the route we made a stop and gave me the steering wheel.

After 20 minutes we took a break and Veera called a friend who I had met with before called Shibbe, he came with his moped car, really similar of Veera's one, to the place we had been waiting for and suggested us to go for a finnish kebab, We went there and when we had finished they decided to took me to an amazing shopping center: Flamingo!



That shopping center have almost everything, you can find there clothes shops, cinema, laser games, coffee shops and even a Barcelona tapas, but I think that one was a fake,they didn't understand spanish.( I checked it).

There I met with new people and also with some guys who I met before like Henri a really nice guy who came one year ago to Badalona.

Later Shibbe and the girls took me sledding, in my opinion, a really dangerous sport. We had been there for half an hour enough time to freeze almost all my body, however I had been having a really nice time with them.

Finally while Shibbe had been driving towards my house we were speculating about the things that we could do someday if he comes to Barcelona.

It only rest one week and I hope I will enjoy it with the people who has been making of these the best experience I have ever had.

Skating time!!

Last Tuesday, when the sun, finally, came to Helsinki, Laia and I decided to do something different…we went together to ice skating.

The ice skating rink is outdoors in the center of Helsinki, near the Rautatientori station and it was easy for us to go there. We went after we finished the work, around four o’clock, when the sun reflected on the ice. It was just my second time skating and I don’t have much experience… we were having a good time when after only 20 minutes in the rink, I fell down... Everybody was looking at me! I was so ashamed… But I was lucky because a worker man went to help me! I think it was a great idea to go to skating but I’m not sure if I will repeat…

Great family day!!!

On Monday  i went to the famous chocolate factory with some of the Finns. there we visited all kind of chocolate and then we went to the factory to buy some other chocolate.
At first they told us when the factory was created and how many people visit it every year.


Friday and yesterday Aina slept in my house because her parents were out.. For dinner on Friday we ate "Paella Valenciana", check with prawn, meet, mussel... It was very good, both wanted to repeat. For dessert we ate a catalan cream.


Today was a long but fun day. We have been visiting Eija and Hanu parents. We had to travel almost two hours by car.
My family has two classic cars for many years old. One is green and the other is yellow with orange flames ahead.







Her parents are firendly. They also offered us to taste ice cream, cookies and coffee.
Then we went for a drive with the car in the middle.

Sun in Finland!

Yesterday it was an especiall day. An incredible event happened, the sun appeard!

It was at about 11:30 when I had had a break in the work and I decided to go outside for a walk and at that moment I saw for the first time since my arrival to Finland the glimmering light of the finnish sun reflecting from the windows of Helsinki city. 

I have never had that happiness before, I can't write my feelings when my eyes discover what the couds had been concealing to that moment.

The temperature rise to 10 degrees and the appereance of the city changed in a few minutes,also, the mood of the people had changed, they were more friendly and kind, you could see it in their glowing complexion. 

We saw all the colours that the city has with the immense light standing in the top of the sky.

At 5:00 I decided to leave Helsinki and get set for the return to home, I took the K train and I had been waitng for a while before the doors were closed, for that period of time I had been enjoing the lasts moments of sun of the day.

When I left the train and I started walking throught my routine route the sun stood behind my shape letting me see my own shadow standing in front of me.

Once I arrived at home I look trought the clouded window and I saw that the sun was setting down, this occurrence remember me my lasts days in Spain.

TWO WEEKS IN FINLAND!!

Took two weeks in Finland!

This week i went with my family in the International Park. Spent the all afternoon there, it was very cold (i think that was 0 degrees)
and all was snow. We drove by ski area and went to ask how much it would cost to practice it.

When we returned at home we stopped to see a monument of an animal "The gorilla" done only with the wheels of cars and motorbikes.


On Thursday we went Aina (friend spanish), Deniz, Anna, Gulbahar, Lineea and I at the Kiasma Museum. There we saw al type of animals mount and even the skeletons of some dinosaurs.



I have made great friends with them.

Yesterday, Aina was left to sleep in my house for the first time and went to the sauna together. For me it was my first time and was luck with Aina because I didn't know working very well.

Today we went to the zoo of Helsinki. Is very large and there are many animals, but the problem there is many animals in winter do not usually stay out sleeping inside which prevented us from seeing any of them. Still, we could enjoy the amazing animals such as lions, reindeers and tigers.

                          
                                                                                         

Weekend with the family

Last weekend I went with my family to the amazing Nuuksio National Park. The park spreads over an area of forests and lakes in Espoo, Kirkkonummi and Vihti.

 



The sausages in the fireplaces!!

We went by car, and there, we walked along the snowed paths. After a walk of about fifteen minutes we stopped at the designated fireplaces area near the campgrounds , we eat some sausages and had a picnic. After lunch, we continued the excursion and we walked for along time. We walked inside the forest 4 km. Even the floor was slippery and definitely a difficult walk for me…

I went back home really tired and exhausted but the excursion was really good and I will always remember the beautiful views!

Incredible weekend!

Our weekend was amazing. 

It started in Friday evening when  Hiob and me went to the shooping centre to buy some clothes to use in a party that took  place in Saturday night. When we arrived at home we left our stuff and hanged out with some friends.We went to the McDonalds of Tikkurila 4 km away on foot a really far place but the trip was really funny and I enjoyed a really good time. 

In Saturday morning I woke up extremly early to be a weekend like 7AM and I decided to go to the gym that is 5 minuts of our home. I stayed 1 hour and when I came back I ate the lunch and an appetizing dessert, bread with jam and white salse. When we had finished we change our clothes to the new ones we bought in Friday to go to the party.

At 7:00 PM we met with a friend who took us there, 30 km north of the city I live.

The party was awesome it took place in a cabin with 50 people, I really enjoied that becouse in Spain we don't have that kind of parties. The party finished at 5:00 Am some of us slept there and the other ones leave earlier.

When we woke up we found all the cabin almost destroyed thats the result of 50 people partying all the night. We clean it all and took the bus to Helsinki, there we went to a place called Barbarosa where we ate a really big pizza. 

In the afternoon we took the train to come back home and rest there all the day.
